New · Routes
The schedule is done before the coffee is.
Routes plans tomorrow overnight, from the jobs already on your board. Your dispatcher opens Fieldnote to a finished day, not an empty one.
From the pilot brief

- 2.3 hrsgiven back to each dispatcher, every day
- 96%of jobs arrived inside the promised window
- 0double bookings
How it works
Overnight, Routes does the part that used to take all morning.
Plans while you sleep
At midnight Routes takes every open job, every crew's hours and every promised window, and builds the day.
Orders stops by real drive time
Not as the crow flies. Routes uses road time for the hour the crew will actually be driving.
Respects the rules you already have
Licences, vehicle types, two-person jobs, a tech who can't work Thursdays. If it is on the crew profile, Routes honours it.
Re-routes when the day changes
A cancellation at 10:00 is a gap. Routes offers the nearest job that fits and asks before it moves anything.
Leaves the decision with you
The plan arrives as a draft. Approve it in one tap, or drag a card and Routes re-balances the rest.
Explains itself
Every plan comes with a note. Why this stop is first, why that crew, what changed since yesterday.
The pilot
Eight weeks, six companies, one board.
We ran Routes with six Fieldnote customers from March to May: two HVAC firms, a plumber, an electrician, a pest control company and a regional appliance repair team. Fleets from four trucks to thirty-one.
Every morning the dispatcher got a draft plan. Every evening we asked what they changed and why. By week three, most drafts were approved without edits. By week six, two dispatchers had stopped coming in early.
The miles came down because the order of stops improved. The on-time rate came up because promised windows were finally part of the plan, not a note in the margin.
Questions we heard in the pilot
Does Routes replace my dispatcher?
No. It replaces the first forty minutes of their day. The plan is a draft until a person approves it, and every change they make teaches Routes what your operation prefers.
What if a customer calls and needs someone today?
Add the job the way you do now. Routes finds the crew that can take it with the least disruption and shows you the trade-off before you say yes.
Which Fieldnote plans include Routes?
Routes is included on Team and Fleet plans. There is no per-seat charge and no add-on. If you are on Solo, talk to us and we will find a fit.
When can we start?
Early access opens in September 2026 for current customers. Leave your details below and we will set up your board on a 30-minute call.
Put your name on the list.
We onboard a handful of teams each week so every board gets a real person setting it up. Tell us about yours.
